What We Know for Sure!
When Army Recruiters are decisively engaged enlisting high quality young men and women in quantity, they are sending a clear message – it is time to make a life decision – go to college, go to work, or enlist.
Every Noncommissioned Officer who becomes an Army Recruiter has no experience in the processes of prospecting and selling. NCOs become Recruiters after nine weeks of intensive training followed by nine months of on-the-job, performance-based mentoring.
Commissioned Officers assume their duties after a brief orientation period.
In a leadership intensive enterprise where multiple levels of leaders learn On-the-Job, peer and near-peer mentoring and training is paramount. USAREC does not have the human capital or financial resources to train up all who join the Command.
The Army’s Mission Command Training Program is a proven leader development process. The difference between MCTP for maneuver units and Recruiting is stark. Maneuver units are mentored in periodic training events. Recruiting Command is decisively engaged 24/7.
Every cohort of newly assigned NCOs and Officers at Station, Company, Battalion, and Brigade levels demand a unique, tailored, adaptive Mission Command Training and Evaluation process.
What does MissionBox bring to the fight?

What do we do?
We conduct needs assessments and develop unique training programs to close the gaps in knowledge and experience.
We facilitate peer, near-peer consultation and mentoring for all levels of leadership.
We evaluate and mentor commanders and their subordinate commanders consistent with Mission Command concepts.
- Brigade Commanders are mentored by successful commanders and CSMs at both Battalion and Brigade and as General Staff leads. Our lead mentors commanded at battalion, brigade, and served as the Chief of Staff USAREC.
- Battalion Commanders are mentored by former battalion and brigade commanders and CSMs.
- Company Commanders are mentored by former company and battalion commanders and CSMs.
We conduct proprietary market research down to Zip Code and Recruiter zone levels. Our research is conducted with academic rigor and consistent with Institutional Review Board (IRB) standards.
